Dear Ladies & Gentlemen,

in this update, we will take a closer look at the two new Chambers of Wonders Booster Packs, which have been announced with the opening of the Pledge Manager.

Cinématographe Lumière

This expansion pays homage to a series of cult films, it will allow you to take advantage of a special token every time you exhibit one of these Wonders.

These tokens will give you a random bonus out of the 4 listed below:

• Get £3
• Draw 1 Wonder Card
• 1 Fame token
• Activate 1 Contact of your choice immediately.

Tokens are not linked to a specific card, but will always be drawn randomly. Each card in this expansion has a different value ​​than the others.

 Stranger Things

This expansion, just as its name indicates, is the most particular of the game, each single Wonder Card has its own different special power.

- Garpez: when you exhibit it, throw three one-pound coins taken from the reserve: the ones that come out as "heads" are placed on the card. Each of those is worth 1 Fame point at the end of the game.

 - Kwai Thanu: Fame points of all the Wonders placed in the same Display Cabinet of this Wonder become their Value and vice versa.

- Anubis: the player who exhibits this Wonder can take the top Wonder Card from the discard pile (or from the Wonder Deck if there are no discards), then he can add it to his hand or replace it with any Wonder Cards in his Display Cabinets, discarding the replaced Wonder Card (it does not trigger additional effects).

-Fabulous: if at least one player has exhibited a Fabulous at the end of the display phase, each player chooses one Wonder Card among those he has exhibited and he passes it to the player to his right. This Wonder is also exhibited immediately and does not generate other special effects.

We take the opportunity of this update to do a quick review of the rules of all the other expansions, by giving you a recap of the rules presented in the Updates during the campaign. Let's start with Clockworks Freaks, which actually we didn't describe in detail yet! ;)

Clockwork Freaks

This booster pack will add a new type of Wonder, ingenious and mysterious mechanical constructs that, in addition to enriching your collection, provide you a direct help in your quest, they can be very useful for obtaining a powerful advantage.

Every time you exhibit one of these Wonders you can immediately activate any contact of your choice at no cost! Yes, you got it right! We are sure that each of you will want to exhibit one of these Wonders as soon as possible!

Travellers

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

We are happy to announce that the Chamber of Wonders Pledge Manager is officially open!

What happens now?

From now for the next 4 days BackerKit will send all invitation emails, containing the link to access your Survey and complete your order.

Don't worry if you don't receive your invitation immediately, Keep an eye on your Inbox and your Spam Folder,  if within a week you have not received your invitation, you can contact us HERE, to easily solve the problem!

The Pledge Manager will remain open until May 31, 2021, complete the survey by this date to avoid issues with your shipment!

For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, here is a quick guide to complete it easily!

Confirm your Pledge Level

This is first screen you will see after clicking on the link to the mail sent by BackerKit.

First select your country. For those who will in be in Rome around November 2021, if you like you can choose the "Local Pick-up" option, to collect your pledge directly in our Office; in this case, no shipping costs will be charged to your order and we will be happy to see you around here!

If you want to change your pledge, you can click on "Switch your pledge level" and select the new one. Backers with an Early Bird pledge will have to contact us to make a change from one Early Bird PL to another, to avoid to loose their benefit.

(We noticed some you have chosen the normal pledge level during the first 48 hours, we assumed it was a simple mistake, so we automatically upgraded those pledges to the corresponding Early Bird pledge level).

If everything is ok click on "Get Started"

Step 1 - Questions

This screen gives you revealing information about your pledge.

Once you have read the question, select "Understood Thanks" and continue by clicking the "Next: Add-ons" button.

Step 2 - Add-ons

On this screen, you will find all the add-ons available for your Pledge Level.

All Items are divided into categories (Additional Pledge, Expansions, Booster Expansions, Cosmetics, and Sherwood Bandits). Scrolling down you will find all the categories. On the right of the page, you will find the summary of your order with the shipping costs updated based on the items purchased.

As promised during the Kickstarter campaign, all Backers will find the expansion "Sherlock - A Chamber in Red" already included for free in their Pledge Level.

When you have finished your shopping, click on the "NEXT" button.

Step 3 - Shipping

On this page, you will need to fill in all fields with your shipping information. Fill in the fields carefully!

Once you are done click on the "NEXT" button!

Step 4 - Confirm

All you have to do is fill in your payment information and press the "PLACE MY ORDER" button.

Remember that credit card payments are handled by STRIPE,  the system will debit your cards within one week after you close your order!

Sherwood Bandits

As we announced during the Kickstarter campaign, we have made all the Sherwood Bandits material available to you, All items will be in a dedicated Add-on section within the Pledge Manager.

A great chance for all our supporters that missed Sherwood Bandits Kickstarter campaign!

Quantities are limited to 400 copies, and since these items are already available in our warehouse, Sherwood Bandits material will be shipped within a week after you close your order!

So don't miss this chance to get a copy of the first LMS Lite game and have fun with it immediately!

Welcome to a new update totally dedicated to the  Pledge Manager opening!

Compared to what was announced in last week's update, the Pledge Manager will be open a few days late, as we are refining the last details to offer you the best shopping experience a collector can have!

The opening of the Pledge Manager is therefore set for Monday 12 April 2021, we are sorry to make you wait but we are sure it will be worth it!

Precisely for this reason, we want to take advantage of this update to introduce you to 3 tasty surprises we have prepared for the Pledge Manager! You will have 3 brand new addons not presented during the Kickstarter campaign, but which have been loudly requested by many of you!

Let's go and see what it is!

Cinématographe Lumière

The Cinema has arrived in the town! With this new Booster Pack, you can add 12 new Predetermined Wonder Cards (4 different types) to your collection ... and what a card! Each of them will bring back a prop from famous films of the past! A unique opportunity for movie lovers! Furthermore, like the other Booster Packs, it adds a new mechanic that uses the 12 special tokens included in this expansion.

Strangers Things

Are you ready for the weirdest stuff you've ever seen? This expansion was born from the imagination of our fans who participated in our contests on our social pages! You'll find yourself haggling for London's strangest items... seriously! Like every Booster Pack, it adds 12 new predetermined cards (4 different types) and a new mechanic where each card will trigger a different effect as soon as it is played!

Victorian Coins

What's the point of being rich collectors if you can't spend real coins?

This cosmetic addon will provide you with 25 one-pound coins and 25 three-pounds coins all in metal, with which you will be able to replace those in the core game (both Deluxe and Collector) and feel like a real Londoner of the late 19th century!

Also in the pack, you will find a very Stylish Bag with the Chambers of Wonders brand! Very useful for keeping your swag safe while wandering around London's smoky back streets!

Not bad right? We just have to wait for the end of the weekend and start dancing! And if anyone of you thought that the Booster Packs would look good in a bundle... well they got it right! But enough spoilers, you will find out everything in a couple of days!

On Monday we will publish a new update with detailed instructions to manage your Pledge manager in the best way, and don't worry if you don't immediately receive the invitation email from BackerKit! As KS veterans know well, emails take a few days to be sent to all backers and so it's normal to have to wait a few days after opening to receive it!

Collect your Easter egg!

Hello guys!

A quick update before the Easter holidays to prepare you for the upcoming Pledge Manager opening!

We are finalizing the preparations and we confirm that over the next week the Pledge Manager will be open to backers and late pledges!

The PM will be managed as usual on the BackerKit platform and all of you will automatically receive an invitation that will allow you to access your order to finalize it, adding new items, and confirming your addresses!

We have some tasty surprises planned for all our hardcore collectors and to celebrate the opening of the Pledge Manager next week we will publish online the Solo Play rules, just released from the graphic designers forge!

We will notify you of the actual Pledge Manager opening with a new update next week, so for now, think about eating a lot of Easter eggs and enjoying the holidays!

Chamber of Wonders Kickstarter campaign has been a great success, and it is above all yours.

We really had fun during the last 2 weeks, we want to thank you all for your support, your comments and your suggestions... for making possible the realization of this game in the form we really wanted to do.

Even the last challenge has been achieved 🧐 😜 The Club card: the Cat-lovers is now officially a new Club in the game.

The whole team that worked on the project, starting with the authors, thanks you!

For those of you who haven't tried it yet, and waiting for the arrival of your copy, we remind you that you can play with it on TTS. 

We will open the Pledge Manager (where you will be able to manage your pledge and choose all your add-ons) at the beginning of April. Don't worry, there will be another updates with detailed instructions.
